Apparently a group has gone and re-mastered (so to speak) some of the classic Sierra PnC games, including KQ 1 & 2.

On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Preferences, then click Users & Groups. Open Users & Groups preferences for me. If the lock at the bottom left is locked, click it to unlock the preference pane. Click the Add button below the list of users. Click the New Account pop-up menu, then choose a type of user.

In 1984 players were first given the opportunity to traverse the Kingdom of Daventry as the noble knight, Sir Graham, in search of ailing King Edward's three lost treasures. Now, years later, you can return to the familiar realm and explore the land in all of its recreated glory on your quest to become King once again.
This remake of King's Quest I: Quest for the Crown has been faithfully reproduced and is quite similar to Sierra's 1990 parser-based remake, but it expands and improves upon many aspects of its predecessor in the visual, audio, and interface departments. The remake is driven by a refined Point-and-Click interface, contains simulated VGA graphics (technically SVGA), includes digital music and lip-synched speech, and now even boasts a new 'No Dead-Ends' gameplay mode.
Unlike previous versions, King's Quest I Version 4.1 no longer contains a MIDI soundtrack. The digitally recorded musical soundtrack, in addition to the speech pack, is now included as part of the game package to ensure that all players can enjoy the remake as intended.
